St. Dominic Industries Corporation is one of the pioneer in the manufacturing and refilling of portable–type fire extinguishers. It manufacturers, refills and distributes different types of fire extinguishers such as dry chemical, carbon dioxide, foam, and halogen substitute.


Actually, the business was started in 1976 as a machine shop which serves raw materials of then fire extinguisher manufacturing companies. It was in 1983 when the Company started on its own fire extinguisher’s business,


RAVEN, the brand name of St. Dominic fire extinguishers is one of the leading quality fire extinguishers in the Philippines market today. Aside from fire extinguishers, the Company also manufactures and distributes other fire and safety products such as emergency lights, fire hose boxes, fire hose assemblies, and fire extinguisher cabinets.


The company office and plant is located at # 1039 Pat. Antonio Street, Sta. Mesa, Manila which produced an average rate of approximately two thousand five hundred (2,500) units of brand new and refilled fire extinguishers per month.

Corvid Industrial Corporation, started as manufacturer/supplier of fire extinguisher raw materials to various local manufacturers

1983

St. Dominic Industries was established as Single Proprietor under Nicanor V. Soriano registered under Department of Trade and Industry. During this time the said company started manufacturing "Raven Brand" fire extinguishers with license issued by Bureau of Product Standard

August 18, 1998

St. Dominic Industries became a corporation under the name of ST. DOMINIC INDUSTRIES, INC. registered under Securities and Exchange Commission. Still the company continues manufacturing Raven Brand fire extinguishers and as the company grows, they also manufacture Raven Brand Emergency Light and became a supplier of various items related to fire safety

1999 – 2003

St. Dominic Industries, Inc. acquired ISO Certificate with Certification International Philippines, Inc. as certifying body under PNS100:1994 / ISO9002:1994

2004 – up to present

St. Dominic Industries, Inc. changed their certifying bodies for Quality Management System for Manufacture, Refilling and Servicing of Dry Chemical, Foam (AFFF), Halon Substitute (HCFC 123 and Raven–36) and Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguisher as the requirements of ISO 9001: 2000 under TUV SUD PSB Philippines Inc.


Through the years St. Dominic Industries, Inc. maintained their good name as Licensed Manufacturer/Wholesaler/Retailer of Fire Extinguisher Business.
